TECHNICAL INFORMATION

MENSI TRC3 Transfer Machine has been conceived for the production of a broad range of products for the aforementioned sectors.
Its stability and robustness is guaranteed by its machine bed in welded and normalized steel equipped with a slide for the conveying of the chips and a table disc in welded and normalized steel with eight stations, that is assembled on a CNC controlled table on horizontal axis and equipped with rotating distributor.

The advantages and strength of this transfer machine consist in its major versatility and flexibility and in the simple and quick tool changing system. Since it is made up of three machining centres it can practically satisfy each customer’s request and demand.

Workpiece: Flanges, tees, curves, steel nipples, fittings, sanitary parts, car components etc.

This transfer machine is made up of the following components:

  • Nr. 1 Machine bed in welded and normalized steel equipped with a slide for the conveying of the chips
  • Nr. 1 Table disc in welded and normalized steel with eight stations that is assembled on a CNC controlled table on horizontal axis and equipped with rotating distributor
  • Nr. 8 Hydraulic chucks with jaws for piece clamping and with swivelling clamp in 45° steps
  • Nr. 3 UFV40 type units (drilling, turning, tapping, threading, recessing, contouring etc.) that are assembled on a cross carriage
  • Nr.3 UTV40 type units (drilling, turning, tapping, threading, recessing, contouring etc.) with tool changer, assembled on a cross carriage; one unit is laid on the right side, the second one on the left side and the third one is radial
  • Technical  details:             

  • 150 mm spindle max. stroke
  • ISO 40 spindle nose fixture
  • Feed by means of a tempered and ground recirculating ball screw – 5 pitch and 32 mm diam – which is driven by a 8 Nm brushless motor and CNC controlled
  • 4Kw CNC controlled brushless motor on each spindle (it is possible to vary the motor power)
  • Unit position control by means of an absolute encoder
  • The spindle transmission is carried out by means of toothed belts RPP (HTD) by CNC
  • Cross carriage with 400mm stroke on X axis and 200mm stroke on Y axis with counterweight balance. It is driven by CNC controlled brushless motors (it is possible to vary the carriage stroke)
  • Nr. 3 Tool changing units with rotating magazine CTM 40-D-O-12-L1 type
  • Nr.1 Hydraulic unit equipped with installation to operate the chucks, to lock/release the table and to automatically lock/release the tools
  • Pneumatic installation with parts supplied by SMC
  • Nr.1 Swarf conveyor with tool cooling system and filtering system for high pressure on internal cooling
  • Nr.1 Centralized lubrication tank supplied by Dropsa.
  • Electric control unit with Siemens components and Fanuc digital numeric control  
  • Software for the management of the machine
  • Machine safety covers according to CE directives

  • All the work is carried out in compliance with EU regulations
